In 2001, LANG launched research
on language department Consortia in North America in
order to identify the mandates and goals of such organizational
infrastructures. In the process, many pertinent links
to useful resources were found. LANG provides you here
with a list of links related to some of these consortiums
and their activities.

In addition, LANG offers a multitude
of resources to its members and students:
i. Access to multilingual
information resources in language learning and teaching.
ii. Access to interactive,
self-paced multimedia materials that can be tailored
to individual needs.
iii. Assistance in the
development of curricular materials, data bases, on-line
assessment tools, research project opportunities and
workshops on networking technologies and media communication.
iv. Access to a collection
of data (statistical, scholarly, etc.) related to language
learning and teaching for possible use by provincial
and national bodies in the development of policies related
to these fields of study.
